Samuel A. Yates made immeasurable contributions to the School of Art and Ewing Gallery over his 41-year career at the University of Tennessee. His legacy includes the development of the Ewing Collection, which will benefit generations of future UT students. This room, dedicated to the study and exhibition of the collection, is named in his honor.
